For several years, off and on, we have grown a pumpkin patch as a special bonus for our CSA members. But in 2022, we are expanding the Pumpkin Patch! CSA Subscriber-Members will continue to have free access to the pumpkins, but we will also be welcoming the public to choose pumpkins in our little patch for a fee.
This is an authentic patch of real pumpkin plants. There are vines, and weeds, and the pumpkins grew where you will pick them. You will find many shapes and sizes, and various colors. Bounded by a border of Bloody Butcher corn, scarecrows, and spooky sunflowers, pick up a wagon and “follow the vultures” to the pumpkin patch. Pass through the Portal of Gourds and choose your pumpkins!
We want to keep our Pumpkin Patch cozy and intimate, so we may have to limit the number of visitors each day, and we may offer CSA-only days, so be sure and check the notifications before coming down.
